8/6/16 I am not a high maintenance person. When I go into a store like this, I know exactly what I need before entering. I entered the hardware store this morning to buy a gas can. When walking in I was not greeted, but stared at like what are you doing in here. I went to the automotive area and could not find a can, so I went the the older man at the checkout. I asked him for a small gas can and without smiling but gruffly pointed with his thumb behind him without saying a word. I thought ok, I now see them on the top shelf against the wall. I guess I will have to reach up there and get it myself. He barked at the boy, who was leaning up against the counter blocking the isle where the gas cans were, to get a can down for me. The boy didn't smile nor did he say anything when I thanked him. The girl at the register where I checked out was pleasant but hardly said a word. The one star in my review goes to her. Customer service is the maker or breaker of any business. I felt very uncomfortable stepping foot in this store and unless I am desperate, I will not be going back. I live less than a mile from this store but I will be going the extra miles to another hardware store. Because of your employees who seem to hate their life and for having to work on a Saturday, you just lost a customer.
Convenient to O. I. B. but overpriced
